All too often it’s the practitioner, who gets all the information about the patient, and the patient gets little information about the Doctor and his/her practice. I would like to change that.
My full name is Peter Anson Cohen, D.C. and I was born in Los Angeles, CA. My undergraduate education was completed at El Camino College in Torrance, CA. I first attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and then transferred to Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC where I graduated in 1981. I have a great wife Darah, who runs the front desk. We have two awesome offspring (sorry, I’m a little prejudice). Our son Graham works in the golf industry and our daughter is attending New Zealand College of Chiropractic. After graduation I moved to Phoenix, AZ, where I practiced for 12 years before moving here to Erie, PA 19 years ago so that our kids could see their grandparents as they grew up.
I originally was inspired to be a Chiropractor because my future brother in law told me the story of Chiropractic when I was 16 years old and it just resonated to my core. I knew that I was born to be a Chiropractor.
I am so grateful because I get to witness people transform their lives in such profound ways. It’s a pretty cool gig. I believe with all my heart in the principles of Chiropractic, which are all based on natural law.
While I am very good at assisting the body in relieving pain, I am more interested in restoring function. I am always striving to improve both my skills and my ability to communicate. I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee. I want to assist people in reaching their highest potential. I would love for you to help me spread the news that we can get well, naturally. There is an old saying in Chiropractic, nature needs no help, just no interference. Together, we can help create a healthy community one person at a time.
My promise to you is that I am going to help you. I will either recognize that I am the right doctor to give you the help that you need or I will recognize that I am not and I will do everything in my power to get you to someone who can help you.
